CRUT will provide both Intra-city and Inter-city transport within its service area. The hub of service operations will be from the capital city of Bhubaneswar. Bhubaneswar is the major business hub of Odisha, at the same time it is also known as temple city and one of the major tourist attraction center due to Udaigiri- khandagiri, Rajarani, Dhauli Shanti Stupa and Lingaraj temple which has great religious importance. 

Second hub of services would be Cuttack which is the former capital of and second largest city in the eastern Indian state of Odisha. Cuttack is also known as the Millenium city as well as the Silver City due to its history of 1000 years and famous silver filigree works. It is also considered as the judicial capital of Odisha as the Odisha high court is located here. It is also the oldest commercial center of Odisha hosting a large number of trading and business houses in and around the city.

The services from these two hubs will be provided to various satellite cities and town within the service area. This will include places like Khurda, Jatni, Pipli etc.

The state government’s Transport & Commerce department has already notified “Bhubaneswar Urban Transport Area”.
